Things I like about the sweatshirt is that it's black and it has a hood. I like that it's big enough to fit on top of my body the top part of it and the arms. It's loose in a way that makes me feel comfortable and I like that. I like that the hood part doesn't have strings that I have to make sure don't get wet in the sink when I'm leaning over to drink from the faucet to get water to wash out the toothpaste. I can just lean over like it's nothing super easy. But I do have to be careful about the toothpaste because since it's black the sweatshirt would show toothpaste really easy so I need to think extra about keeping the toothpaste off of it both when I'm loading it on my toothbrush and when I'm brushing my teeth from splatters and from spitting out the toothpaste from drips. Also because the sweatshirt is comfortably loose it's going to droop away from my body in different ways than sweatshirts that aren't loose like most of my sweatshirts. So I'm not used to that so just have to be extra thoughtful with the toothpaste. One option is to not wear my sweatshirt to teethbrushing and I'm going to keep that in mind. But usually when I brush my teeth in the morning I do it when I'm already dressed so then I'd have to get dressed then get a little undressed with the sweatshirt which is a step backwards. Plus in the winter it's cold in the bathroom where I do most of my teethbrushing. I don't know if you say toothbrushing or teethbrushing. They're both interesting enough and accurate. I could wear a different sweatshirt when I brush my teeth like a shitty one that I don't care about that already has toothpaste on it. I have one of those. So I could get dressed with the toothpaste sweatshirt on brush my teeth not worried about where the toothpaste gets and then quickly switch sweatshirts to the one we're talking about. The huge issue there is that the toothpaste sweatshirt hood does have strings so then I'm back to not wanting them to get wet and having to think about that when I lean over into the sink. I've tried tying the strings into a bow as a way to shorten them and it works like a charm except when I go to take off that sweatshirt it needs to be untied otherwise my head doesn't fit because the tied bow shrinks the head opening just enough to make it so that my head is too big and if I forget to do that before I take it off it's hard to do it while my head is stuck on account of I can't see.
Update: I went for it with the black sweatshirt and teethbrushing and it didn't work there got a couple of drops on there and I thought hey that's not that noticeable but then on a video call at work I saw them so I turned off my camera and tried to clean them off by licking them which worked pretty good but when I came back on camera you could sort of see the wet spots so maybe someone noticed the whole situation and put two and two together.
